Now that Mr Mortensen can no longer receive fan mail or send out autographed photos,
fans can still get their memorabilia autographed at one of his many public apearances & poetry readings. Which are
held many times a year in the USA and abroad. He will gladly will sign anything, one person even had his back signed so he could have the autograph tattooed on permanently!
The one condition is that the signature has to be dedicated, this is to avoid the many signature "fakes" being sold on the net. So for the most part
if you see a Viggo signature that hasn't been dedicated on an item for sale, then it is most probably a fake. Items predating Viggo's new signature policy are of course the exception.

presents the L.A. release of the anthology of contemporary poetry
at a benefit poetry reading for the Midnight
Special bookstore. Held at Beyond
Baroque in Venice, CA, on Saturday, November 15th, the evening
will include readings and performances by writers Saul Williams,
Marvin Bell, Patricia Smith, Luis Rodriguez, Regie Gibson, Viggo
Mortensen, Georganne Deen, Mike McGee, with music by John Condron. No
