Boromir Bio
He was born in 2978 to Denethor II and Finduilas. His father is the current steward of Gondor,
the kingdom
of which Aragorn is true heir. For generations the people of Gondor have taken
no king, instead they have appointed a series of nobel stewards to govern the country hoping that the true heir
would return.
Boromir initially travels to Rivendell seeking the meaning of a recurring dream, fortelling the return of that which killed
the last of Gondor's kings. He learns that this is in fact the 'One Ring' now in the possession of Frodo. Boromir, like the last king of
Gondor realizes that the power of the 'ring' can be used to defend his kingdom, which is nearest to
the Dark Lord Sauran's domain and has been under constant attack for generations. He is amazed
when it is soon revealed that the one known as Strider is the lost heir to the thrown of Gondor.
Filled with doubt about Aragorn's true origins and about what should be done with the 'Ring', Boromir never the less
is compelled by honor to join the 'Fellowship' in it's journey to destroy the 'One Ring'...
