Actually, Chutney took pictures while Madeline and I stood in line. She is not a Viggo fan, per se…not until after this evening. She was so impressed with him, and kept saying over and over, “He was so NICE!” He even looked up when she quietly asked him so that she could get a picture, and the result was one beautiful shot!
As we moved closer, I realized that others were asking to have their pictures taken with Viggo, and there was even one member of the ICP staff who would take pictures for people who did not have anyone with them to do it. So, I figured it would be worth a shot if I could just get two words of my mouth in some semblance of a sentence! However, at this time we noticed that wine had been set out by the ICP staff, and were informed that is was for everyone. Madeline and I shared a glass together right before we went up to see Viggo, and I am sure it calmed us!

As we got closer to Viggo’s table, I was insisting that I would not ask him to have a picture taken with me. I didn’t want to impose on him, and had read accounts from the Virgin signing the night before that Viggo had appeared very uncomfortable. So, my thinking was that I would just have him sign my book, and then just leave. Chutney and Madeline were insistent that I ask him, and Madeline said she would have a pic taken with me as long as I was the one who asked. Geez! Such pressure!
